A Marketing Manager preferably with private education industry experience.
What will you do:
- Responsible for creating and driving the development and implementation of the marketing strategy of the Company, including management of the marketing team.
- Strategic development and execution of external and internal marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and increase student numbers.
- Effective management of marketing budget, development/growth of marketing team and collaboration with external suppliers to optimise return on investment and achieving the company’s objectives and key results.
- Management of strategic marketing and customer relationship activities.
- Build and expand the presence of the company and its brands.
- Oversee the creative and strategic development and improvement of external and internal marketing initiatives, including inter alia the Company’s advertising and public relations campaigns to ensure growth.
- Manage the development and maintenance of the Company’s website.
- Appoint and manage external marketing suppliers to optimise return on investment and achieve the company’s objectives and key results.
- Management of company events including open days and student functions.
- Collaboration with the company’s sales team vis-à-vis secondary school visits.
- Collaboration with the company’s sales team vis-à-vis keeping track of marketing campaign effectiveness in driving leads and sales.
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company’s growth through marketing initiatives.
- Strategically analyse and report on marketing initiatives and lead and sales outcomes to inform marketing decisions and business opportunities.
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, competitor and market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with prospective customers and various business partners.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
- Developing the marketing team and managing their day-to-day activities.
What do you need:
- Relevant degree and qualifications.
- Three+ years in a similar role or five+ years in a strategy and/or brand management role at an agency or in a marketing department.
- Experience in the private education industry would be an advantage.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- A high level of communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver on both creative and business objectives.
- The ability to motivate and build rapport with people.
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
