Doctors without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation committed to two objectives: providing medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, natural and man-made disasters; and speaking out about the plight of the populations assisted. Key Responsibilities:
The primary job function is to resuscitate and stabilize patients then refer them to the appropriate medical departments for further medical management. Other specific responsibilities entail implementing SATS, protocols, and training of the ER team to achieve a well-functioning ER unit. The ER MD works as part of a medical team in the hospital.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor with ER specialization.
- Valid Registration with HPCSA.
- Valid Passport.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player.
- Flexible to work in insecure contexts.
