Senior Geometric Engineer

This role is pivotal in our transportation infrastructure team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in geometric road design, combined with excellent technical abilities and strong leadership skills to successfully deliver complex design projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Geometric design of roads, highways, interchanges, and intersections according to client requirements and design standards
- Stormwater management design including drainage, culverts, and channeling
- Preparation of detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data for design input
- Overseeing and mentoring junior design staff on the team
- Ensuring adherence to quality control procedures
- Liaising with clients to understand requirements and provide design updates
- Conducting design audits and value engineering exercises
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a BSc or BEng Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration as an engineer with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) is mandatory
- Possession of a valid driver's license
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant and extensive experience in geometric road and highway design in a consulting engineering environment
- Proven track record in delivering successful and complex geometric design projects
