Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-10 years experience in a site supervisor or marine engineering role, ideally in shipbuilding or marine construction projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of marine engineering principles, shipbuilding processes, and maritime safety standards.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
- On-Site Supervision: Supervise all on-site engineering activities related to marine projects, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate teams of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, including quality checks, compliance with safety protocols, and adherence to project schedules. Address any issues or delays promptly.
- Safety Management: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols specific to marine projects.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, changes to project plans, and any issues encountered. Provide regular updates to senior management on site progress and challenges.
