Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 1 - 10 years of experience in P&ID design, preferably in the process, oil & gas, or manufacturing industry.
- Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.
Beneficial requirements: - Skills:
- Proficiency in P&ID design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant, Revit).
- In-depth knowledge of piping systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and codes, such as ASME, ISO, and API.
- Personal Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and design P&IDs for industrial processes, including piping systems, equipment, and control systems.
- Ensure that P&IDs meet relevant industry standards and regulations, including safety and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate P&IDs into the overall system design and ensure all technical requirements are met.
- Review and update P&IDs to reflect any changes or updates during project execution and commissioning.
- Collaborate with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of P&ID designs.
