Job Purpose:
The Recruitment Resourcer will play an essential role in Altum HR's recruitment team by identifying and engaging candidates, managing their journey from initial application to interview, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role requires close collaboration with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment with the company's recruitment standards and values.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
CV Sourcing and Screening
- Proactively monitor applications and CVs received from various online recruitment platforms (e.g., Indeed) and other sources.
- Screen CVs against set criteria to identify the most qualified candidates.
Candidate Engagement and Initial Assessments
- Schedule and conduct initial 'icebreaker' calls with selected candidates using pre-approved, standardized questions.
- Assess candidates’ suitability through their responses and initial interactions, summarizing key insights for further evaluation.
Recruitment Coordination
- Forward shortlisted candidates’ CVs and summaries from initial calls to hiring managers, providing recommendations for further consideration.
- Coordinate and schedule face-to-face or virtual candidate interviews, managing all logistics and timelines.
Regulatory Compliance and Safer Recruitment
- Stay informed about recruitment best practices, particularly regulatory guidelines related to safer recruitment for roles involving vulnerable populations.
Relationship Management
- Build positive, professional relationships with candidates, fostering a welcoming and engaging recruitment experience.
- Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to align on candidate profiles and recruitment timelines.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Previous experience in recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and scheduling tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to workload changes.
- High attention to detail in CV reviews, initial candidate calls, and compliance with recruitment protocols.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with safer recruitment guidelines and best practices.
Technical and System Requirements for Remote Work: To perform this role efficiently and seamlessly from home, candidates should have:
- Computer/Laptop : A high-performance machine with at least an Intel i5 processor or equivalent, 8GB RAM, and an up-to-date operating system (Windows 10 or later / Mac OS equivalent).
- Headset and Microphone : A noise-cancelling headset for clear communication.
- Dual Monitors : Recommended for enhanced multitasking and productivity.
- Web Camera : High-resolution camera for video interviews and meetings.
- Internet Connection : A minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. A stable, high-speed internet connection (fibre-optic preferred) is essential.
- Backup Power Supply : An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or backup battery to mitigate power outages and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
