Position : Reservations Manager - Milnerton,Cape Town
We are looking for a Reservations Manager.
Responsibilities :
Handling incoming reservations through various channels (phone, email, online booking systems)
Processing reservations, assigning rooms, and managing room allocations
Confirming reservations and sending out booking confirmations
Handling cancellations, modifications, and no-shows
Analyzing occupancy rates and revenue trends
Implementing strategies to optimize room rates and maximize revenue
Monitoring competitive rates and adjusting pricing accordingly
Leading and managing a team of reservation agents
Training and developing staff
Assigning shifts and monitoring performance
Resolving guest inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently
Providing exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintaining and updating reservation systems and software
Ensuring accurate data entry and reporting
Collaborating with front desk, housekeeping, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations
Required profile for job
Matric
Relevant reservations qualification advantageous
Relevant experience as the Reservations Manager
Good communication skills
Good customer relations skills
