Job Description: Engineer/Technologist - CBMS
Location:
Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale
Job Type:
6 month Contract, Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Conduct research, design, and implement solutions in the field of Condition-Based Monitoring Systems (CBMS)
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CBMS equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on CBMS operations
- Document processes, procedures, and findings related to CBMS projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Building Automation Systems.
- Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of CBMS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Control & Instrumentation, and Integration of Systems.
- Specific experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, Fire Protection Systems, and Lighting and Power Systems.
- Strong track record in design, implementation, and commissioning of CBMS in large-scale industrial or power generation facilities
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Condition-Based Monitoring Systems
- Proficiency in system analysis and troubleshooting
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
