About the role:
We are currently looking for a passionate, high energy, outcome-oriented Staff Accountant with intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action to join our Tax team. This role will be assisting in providing accurate, effective, and timely Tax and Accounting services to Nintex worldwide entities, in accordance with legislative requirements. The role also provides support to the Finance team and employees.
Your contribution will be:
- US sales tax reconciliation from sales tax portal to internal accounts.
- Maintain sales tax portal by updating SKUs, entity profiles, exemptions, etc. as needed. Review sales tax returns and resolve issues and inquiries.
- Assisting with various VAT returns.
- Providing timely and accurate reporting on accounting matters as required.
- Ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept in accounting systems as required.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all employees and Nintex finance teams on any relevant accounting query.
- Liaising with and resolving any external auditor queries.
- General accounting, finance and administration duties including providing support to the global accounting team.
- International accounting and reporting, as required.
- Assist with accounts payable and review of company-wide expense reports.
- Assist with preparation of various Statutory Financial Statements and Tax Returns.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as they arise across various teams.
- Be flexible in a constantly changing and high growth business environment.
To be successful, we think you need:
- At least 2-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- SAIPA qualification beneficial.
