CFO (Investment Banking) - Gauteng, Rosebank
Responsibilities:
- Has a detailed understanding and application of the accounting packages and systems used to generate the general ledger.
- Responsible for accounting system and reporting of the company.
- Timeous delivery of financial statements.
- Has detailed understanding of all fund agreements.
- Is responsible for company compliance.
- Is responsible for taxation and all tax related issues.
- Is responsible for quarterly fund reporting.
- Assist with fund structuring and fund-raising process.
- Is responsible for the administration function and assist with meeting legal obligations of fund investors.
- Accountable and responsible for company's statutory obligations.
- Management of finance staff.
- Effectively liaises with investors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum CA (SA) with a minimum experience of 5 years post completion of articles in the financial services sector.
- Investment banking or related industry experience is preferred.
- Timeous delivery and meeting of deadlines.
- Tenacity and a high standard of work ethic.
- General communication skills and a team player.
