We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Cost Accountant to our restaurant in Rosebank. This role focuses on maintaining optimal cost efficiency for menu items and maximizing profit margins, ultimately contributing to the restaurants success and longevity. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed food and beverage costing, ensuring accurate menu pricing and inventory control. Calculate and analyse profit margins, track ingredient costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to manage stock and forecast spending, helping to streamline operational costs. Prepare and present monthly financial summaries that guide decision-making. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma, Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a CIMA certification. At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage or restaurant environment, focusing on cost analysis. Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
