This fast moving business services company based in East London seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to manage its finance function. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Processing the fortnightly payroll
- Processing the monthly payroll
- SMP/SSP payments
- Pension Scheme
- Attachment of Earnings
- Monthly Invoicing
- Debtors List
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supplier Payments
- VAT returns
- Year-end accounts and payroll
- Monthly submission of figures to accountants
You will have the following skills:
- Good all-round computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Good organisational skills & ability to prioritise your own workload under pressure
- Pleasant and confident telephone manner
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Experience with Sage is essential – Sage payroll and Sage accounts
