The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for the delivery of new business.
Using your knowledge of effective sales methodologies, identify, qualify and close new customers in line with the sale strategy and revenue growth targets.
Build solid client relationships with key decision makers and influencers resulting in revenue protection and growth.
Employ consultative sales strategies and well planned customer visits to execute on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Plan, document and record sales data on the CRM to to streamline pipeline management and optimize the pipeline to drive more sales.
Share knowledge and skills with team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- Degree or similar tertiary education
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, achieving sales targets
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment, employing consultative or solution selling
- Excellent communication, time management and planning skills
