As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our assembly areas while upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Maintain machinery
- Do fault finding on machinery and report problems timeously
- Daily housekeeping
- Day to day pipe work, valves, pumps, motors, and welding
- Must be able to prioritize jobs and breakdowns
- Must be able to take own initiative to keep plant running
- Preventative Maintenance schedules kept up to date
- Grade 12/N3
- Must be a qualified, trade-tested Fitter
- Minimum of 5 years working experience post-trade test in a similar position
- Must have previous experience on presses and conveyors
- Must have experience working in a production environment
- Must have extensive Hydraulics and Pneumatics fault-finding and installation experience
- Must be able to read drawings
- Must be able to fit, align, and repair motor/gearboxes
- Machine upgrades and modifications experience
- Knowledge of Robotics and programming advantageous
- Judgment/problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to work as an integral team member
- Honesty and integrity
- Oral and written communication skills
- Tolerance for stress, ability to work under deadline pressure
