A 5* lodge near Hluhluwe has created a new exciting role for an Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff
Previous camp or lodge management experience
Previous experience in working with children is an advantage
At least 3 years relevant experience in a 5-star lodge operation
Some form of managerial training
Valid unendorsed SA drivers license essential
Duties:
Meet and Greet all Guests
Cover all daily and weekly requirements of the Lodge Manager when on leave
Host agents, media and groups
Weekly plannings
Ensure that minimum standards are adhered to in all departments
Departmental and finance meetings
Positive Health
Staff Welfare
Training
Stocktake
Complete performance reviews for staff
Attend Health and Safety meetings
Budget lines
Promote teamwork between departments
This is a permanent live-in position.
Transport to/from leave cycles is the successful candidates own responsibility
