Position Objective:
Responsible for overall management of the business in respective region. Ensures all business goals are reached according to the strategy and goals set by the Company. Dictates the relationship between Getinge Middle East and the distribution network. Managing, evaluating, and recommending new distributors with the objective to ensure long-term strategy of channel management is well executed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct business reviews with distributors
- Evaluate and appraise distributors.
- Own the forecast accuracy of the portfolio.
- Maintain a solid relationship with the senior teams of distributors.
- Act as the liaison between the distributors, Getinge customer services, and product specialists to ensure smooth and timely order and sales execution.
- Establish relationships with existing and prospective new Key Opinion Leaders across the portfolios.
- Establish relationships with Key accounts C suites.
- Implement sales plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Ensure sales targets are met through proper planning, forecasting, and monitoring.
- Ensure business operations are fully compliant with the GG Code of Conduct.
- Early identification and communication of service issues – driving customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with service protocols and growth of service business for the current installed base.
- Direct responsibility for accounts receivables.
- Develop, initiate, create, and lead initiatives to develop market potentials and new growth potentials.
- Engage the distributors into clinical marketing activities.
- Align the product global roadmap to the local geographies.
- Ensure the product plans are aligned with the strategy set.
- Ensure country action plans are developed and executed.
- Ensure the price list is as per the market needs and requirements.
Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in channel management.
- Able and willing to travel extensively within the region of responsibility.
- Minimum seven years of experience in the healthcare/MedTech industry sales area.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges of the market.
- Experience in managing large sales projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in public tenders’ procedures.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
- Proven track record of developing initiatives.
- High level of integrity.
