Project Engineer
Engineering company in Germiston, Gauteng requires Project Engineers (24-month fixed term contract) with the following qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
- 5-8 years' project management experience
- At least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential)
Preference will be given to candidates registered as Project Management Professionals.
Duties & Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for:
- Budget establishments and control based on projects
- Compliance to tendering and procurement process
- Technical solutions regarding maintenance and repairs
- Reduction of overhead maintenance costs
- Contractor management
Desired Experience & Qualification
The candidate must have:
- Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
- 5-8 years' project management experience
- At least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential)
- Knowledge / experience in SAP CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
- Experience with MS Projects
