Duties & Responsibilities
ROLE:
- Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
- ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
- Setting up the organization structure for Sales & Distribution processes and perform all relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration requires this.
- Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing
- Preparation of Sales & Distribution templates for various objects e.g., sales orders.
- Integration testing with other modules
- Understand interfaces, IDOC and RFC's processing
- Preparing the cut over strategy for SD objects
- Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners
- Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
- Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails
- Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving and closing Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support
- Executing the required changes through configuration.
- Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
- Raising Change Requests (CR’s) and writing Functional Specifications for them
- Preparing test data for testing of CR’s (Change Requests)
- Testing CR’s (Change Requests) and preparing test results
- Carrying out regression testing
- Interact with consultants of other modules
- Steer external consultants in allocating deliverables to these feature teams and serve as a quality assurance of their deliverables.
- User interface transactional solutions
- Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles.
- Update and maintain documentation as an existing system’s functionality is changed.
- Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
- Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).

Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- IT Degree and / or relevant qualifications
- DevOps (operations, configuration/development) experience in commercial and/or retail end user IT applications is advantageous
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Experience in at least one of the following technologies would be beneficial:
- SAP SD, MM.
- SAP Analytics.
- SAP HANA.
- SAP ABAP.
- Change request management (SAP transports).
- Take consultative approach to challenge customers’ requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS
- SAP S/4 HANA
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences.
- Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays on implementation and operations (IT Support) related tasks.
- Ability to work as part of an agile team, interdependent and independently to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.

- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
