Mechanical Business Development Manager

A capital equipment design company is recruiting for a Mechanical Business Development Manager with mining experience.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng (Mechanical Engineering) or related
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the mining industry.
- Excellent track record of applied engineering and product data management.
- Experience in underground mining and specifically mechanised mining equipment.
- Sound communication and presentation skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Focus on capital (new sales) and aftermarket segments.
- Developing and maintaining healthy professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Managing operations within geographical area of responsibility.
- Implement business strategy.
- Budgets.
- Sales and marketing.
- Networking with industry professionals and stakeholders in the mining sector.
- Travelling to mines and underground visits to assess problems and determine suitability of mining machinery for the application.
