We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as an IT Technician and Junior Software Developer. This role will primarily involve providing IT support and management. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of simple software systems and tools to optimize internal processes and assist in the coordination of more complex software projects with third-party vendors.
Key responsibilities:
IT Support and Management:
- Setup and configuration of desktops, laptops, software, printers, and WiFi networks.
- Technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage email setup and Office 365 deployment.
Software Development:
- Development of simple software systems and tools to streamline internal processes.
- Collaboration with third-party vendors to assist in the development of more complex computer systems. Assistance with scoping, work planning, and management liaison for complex business software needs.
- Identify business gaps and propose scalable system solutions to improve operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Software Development.
- Certification as an IT Technician (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) advantageous.
- Experience in Zoho app management advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Experience in supporting and repairing Microsoft Windows and commonly used office applications.
