Our client in the Retail Industry requires the services of a Stock Forecaster to ensure stock levels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key performance areas:
- System coordination of supplier accounts to optimize the most profitable ordering patterns/frequency
- Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
- Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service levels
- Promotional planning and replenishment
- Project Management
- Data analysis and reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a B.Com Supply Chain degree or relevant degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent computer literacy skills – (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Product and market knowledge
- Ability to analyze numerous data sets
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
