Bookkeeper – Port Elizabeth
Our client in the Construction Industry is seeking a skilled individual for a Bookkeeper role.
In this role, you’ll manage essential financial duties such as debtor and creditor processing, supplier database registration, preparation of tenders, and preparation of financial reports for management purposes.

Requirements:
- Applicable bookkeeping qualification or at least 5 years relevant work experience.
- Team player who has a strong attention to detail and a commitment to task completion.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
Bookkeeping and Office Administration:
- Branch support of all financial transactions to be forwarded to the company accountant.
- Preparation of debtors and creditors invoicing and reconciliation thereof.
- Management of petty cash.
- Prepare financial information to provide to the company accountant for month-end reconciliation and yearly financial statement preparation.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and automate financial tasks when relevant.
- Assist with creating budgets, financial forecasts, and quarterly reports for use by the management team.
- Timesheet collection and processing.
- General office administration as and when required.
Procurement and Tendering:
- Preparation of documentation for tendering purposes.
- Coordinating the team of consultants forming part of the tender consortium.
Property Management Role:
- Management of rentals, leases, and facilities maintenance.
- Preparation of financial information to various property holding companies.
