We are recruiting an experienced Fabricator to support a busy new build marine project on a contract basis.
The Role:
Fabrication of steel components and assemblies
Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
Marking out, cutting, shaping, fitting and assembling materials to specification
Preparing fabricated sections for welding and installation
Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
Supporting the project team to meet key build milestonesRequirements:
Proven experience as a Fabricator within Marine, Shipbuilding, heavy engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing, or a similar environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a teamContract Details:
Approx. 2 month contract
60 hours per week available
