Role: ERP Business Systems Analyst
Location: Nottingham
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £50,000
Are you a Business Analyst who enjoys doing more than gathering requirements and handing them over to developers?
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join an established software development team, working on ERP solutions with a particular focus on Field Service Management.
This isn't your typical Business Analyst role. You'll be involved from the initial customer requirements right through to solution design, development, testing, delivery and ongoing support.
You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to understand business processes, identify problems and translate requirements into practical, implementable ERP solutions.
A big part of the role will involve designing how those solutions should work within the existing software, making sure they're technically achievable and meet the customer's operational needs.
You'll remain involved throughout the development process, working alongside developers and QA teams to answer questions, clarify requirements, test functionality and make sure the finished solution delivers what's needed.
The team you'll be joining focuses primarily on Field Service, so experience with service management processes, scheduling, engineer allocation, work orders or similar operational systems would be particularly useful.
You'll ideally have experience working with ERP software, either as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant or Solution Designer. Experience with EFACS would be a big advantage, although we're also interested in people who have worked with other ERP platforms and understand how business processes translate into system functionality.
You'll need to be comfortable getting into the detail of how software works, thinking through different solutions and explaining your decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work and wants to see their solutions through to completion rather than simply passing requirements on to someone else.
If you've worked with ERP systems, enjoy the technical side of business analysis and want a role where you can have a genuine say in how software is designed and delivered, please apply now or get in touch to find out more.
We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.
