We are looking for a Fabricator Welder for a permanent position based with our client in York
Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)
Rate of pay is £17.00 per hour
This will be working 42.5 hours a week.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fabricator Welder to join an established engineering team, carrying out fabrication and welding duties to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong background in engineering fabrication and welding.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out MIG welding and fabrication duties.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials for fabrication.
Fabricating and assembling metal components and structures.
Working with mild steel and other metals as required.
Ensuring all welding and fabrication work meets the required quality standards.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Working independently and as part of an established engineering team.Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Fabricator Welder within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Confident MIG welding skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good fabrication, fitting and assembly skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding or Plating would be expected.
