Warehouse Operative - Packing
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Contract: Temporary role until January
About the Role
We are currently looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Packing & Dispatch Operatives to join our team in Basildon on a temporary basis until January.
The role involves packing orders accurately, using computer-based dispatch software and reading and following written instructions to ensure orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident using a computer and able to work efficiently during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities

Packing products accurately and carefully.

Using computer systems and dispatch software to process orders.

Reading and following written instructions and procedures.

Checking orders and ensuring information is entered correctly.

Preparing orders for dispatch.

Maintaining a clean and organised working area.

Working efficiently to meet daily targets.
Requirements

Able to read, understand and follow written instructions.

Basic computer skills and confidence using software.

Good attention to detail.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Comfortable working night shifts.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous packing or dispatch experience is beneficial but not essential, provided you are willing to learn.
