We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Chatham, Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Location: Chatham, Kent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm & Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
This is predominantly seated bench work, involving the handling and assembly of small electronic components.
Duties:

Operating crimping machines.

Gluing and assembling small components.

Screwing and fitting components together.

Carrying out detailed bench assembly work.

Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the production process.

This is predominantly seated bench work, involving the handling and assembly of small electronic components.
Skills/Experience:

Very good eyesight is essential due to the detailed nature of the work.

Excellent attention to detail.
-
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
-
Able to work carefully and accurately.
-
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
-
Any previous soldering experience would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.

Working with PCB assemblies advantageous.
