Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Hertford Regional College (HRC) for a Temporary Apprenticeship Review Officer to support Apprentices studying Electrical Installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced apprenticeship professional to support employers, apprentices and delivery partners throughout the apprenticeship journey, ensuring high-quality learner support and full compliance with apprenticeship funding requirements.

The Role
As an Apprenticeship Review Officer, you will act as the key link between Hertford Regional College, employers, delivery partners and apprentices from enrolment through to End Point Assessment (EPA).
You'll ensure apprentices remain on track, conduct regular progress reviews, monitor off-the-job training, maintain funding compliance and provide an excellent customer experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and apprenticeship delivery partners.
Support apprentice sign-up meetings and ensure all parties understand the Apprenticeship Standard.
Process apprentice enrolment documentation and maintain funding compliance.
Act as the primary contact for employers, apprentices and delivery partners throughout the apprenticeship.
Support employers with the Apprenticeship Service and funding processes.
Plan and complete apprentice progress reviews every 8–10 weeks.
Monitor off-the-job training and identify any risks to learner progress.
Review apprentice progress against agreed training plans.
Discuss and record health and safety, safeguarding and Prevent requirements during reviews.
Coordinate Gateway meetings and support apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
Ensure all apprenticeship documentation is completed accurately and compliantly.
Schedule EPA activities and communicate progress with all stakeholders.
Promote Hertford Regional College's wider training and education offer where appropriate.
About You
Essential
Some understanding of Electrical Installations
Level 2 English and Maths qualification (or willingness to achieve).
Experience building successful relationships with employers.
Experience working collaboratively with external organisations.
Experience supporting apprentices or learners to achieve their goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisation and administration skills.
Ability to complete compliance documentation accurately.
Knowledge of current Health & Safety practices.
Ability to provide learner support and guidance.
Flexible, proactive and customer-focused approach.
Desirable
Electrical Installation qualification
Experience supporting apprentices from enrolment through to End Point Assessment.
Experience conducting apprenticeship progress reviews.
Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and apprenticeship funding rules.
Teaching, assessing or CIAG qualification.
Experience across a variety of vocational sectors.
Additional Information
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as this role involves regular local travel.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required to support College events and operational needs.
Participation in College Open Events and other promotional activities may be required.
