An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a large and well-established plant company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer with experience working on heavy plant machinery to join a reputable business offering excellent earning potential and career progression.
About the Role – Mobile Plant Fitter
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment remains safe, reliable and fit for purpose.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Completing machinery component rebuilds
Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
Carrying out safety inspections to ensure machinery meets health and safety standards
Ensuring all hire equipment is maintained to a high standardWhat You’ll Need to Succeed as a Mobile Plant Fitter
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle or Plant Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Relevant experience in a similar role within the last 2 years
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Experience working on heavy plant machinery
Full UK driving licence
