Financial Controller
Kidderminster Area | Hybrid Working
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum subject to experience
T2M Resourcing is working with an established, successful business with ambitious growth plans in the Kidderminster area to recruit a Financial Controller.
This role will suit a qualified (ACA or ACCA preferred), forward-thinking accountant with suitable experience. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will sit on the Senior Leadership team, owning month-end and year-end reporting processes, the production of all key external and internal financial reporting deliverables as well as statutory filing requirements and audit across both UK and International entities.
As Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include;

The preparation of UK entity and subsidiary statutory year-end accounts across this complex business including the production of Group Consolidated Accounts (IFRS) and Tax returns.

Leading external audit, liaise with auditors responding to queries and questions.

Owning the month-end close across the group

Support the Treasury function with daily cash control, building reserves through challenging operating margins and expenses, and staying efficient with FX, tax and cash.

Own ERP reconciliations and the monthly balance-back to the sales reports across the Group.

Lead, manage and develop the management accounting team,

Deliver monthly management reporting against budget across the UK entities and subsidiaries.

Own technical accounting, policies and consistency of treatment, keeping the numbers robust and defensible.

Drive finance systems and process improvement, automating consolidation and routine reporting and using AI wherever it can add value and streamline
To be successful in this Interim Financial Controller role, you will demonstrate the following:

Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA/ ACCA)

Strong technical accounting skills & financial control experience, ideally gained within an accountancy / audit practice.

Must be familiar with IFRS

Proven ownership of management reporting in a multi-entity group with international subsidiaries

Interest in finance systems and process system improvement.
