We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Qualified Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing and well-established fire safety business, covering projects across Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Fire Risk Assessor to join a professional team, carrying out fire risk assessments across a varied portfolio of commercial, residential and public sector properties.
Offering a salary of up to £45,000, this role would suit someone who is confident working independently, has strong technical knowledge of fire safety legislation and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant assessments.
As a Fire Risk Assessor, your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking comprehensive fire risk assessments across a range of property types.
Identifying fire hazards, evaluating risks and recommending appropriate control measures.
Producing detailed, accurate and professional fire risk assessment reports.
Advising clients on fire safety compliance and best practice.
Ensuring assessments are completed in line with current fire safety legislation and guidance.
Managing your own workload and assessment schedule across Scotland.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Providing practical recommendations to help clients improve fire safety standards.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:
Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment (essential).
Previous experience undertaking fire risk assessments across a variety of buildings.
A strong understanding of current fire safety legislation and guidance.
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
A professional and client-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Scotland.
