We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a growing business in Macclesfield.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience across goods in, goods out, stock control and logistics, taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse.

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

Managing the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse
-
Coordinating goods in, goods out and stock movements
-
Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
-
Preparing orders accurately for dispatch
-
Liaising with freight forwarders and transport providers
-
Obtaining freight quotes and arranging collections and deliveries
-
Working with suppliers, customers and internal teams to coordinate stock requirements

Carrying out stock takes and investigating discrepancies
-
Maintaining accurate stock records using online systems
-
Operating a forklift for loading, unloading and stock movements
-
Completing logistics paperwork and general warehouse administration

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
What will you need?

Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, goods in/out or stock control
-
Valid FLT licence
-
Confidence using computers and online stock systems
