Nursery Practitioner Opportunity!
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team in Edenbridge, TN8.
We are a welcoming nursery with a dedicated leadership team and a strong focus on providing high-quality early years care. The setting values having a highly qualified, knowledgeable team, with ongoing training and development helping staff maintain consistent standards of practice. This is a lovely opportunity to join an established nursery where you can work collaboratively with experienced colleagues, share your passion for Early Years and continue developing your skills within a supportive environment. This role is ideal for a newly qualified practitioner looking to start their early years career, or an experienced practitioner seeking a new long term challenge!
Salary: Up to £14.42ph / £27,000 - £30,000pa (Depending on qualifications/experience)
Days/Hours: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days / Permanent Contract / All Year Round

Key Responsibilities:
-
Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children’s interests, ages and development.

Observe, assess and plan next steps in line with the EYFS.

Maintain accurate records and learning journeys for key children.

Follow safeguarding, health, hygiene and safety procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately.

Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers

Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting the wider nursery team when required.
About You:
-
Qualified Level 2 or above in Early Years/Childcare

Previous Nursery or Childcare Experience

Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.

Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
-
Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Right to work in the UK.
