About the role…
As an Office Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the business, helping ensure the office runs efficiently and colleagues, customers and visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll support a range of business activities including reception duties, document management, office coordination, meeting arrangements, post handling, visitor management and general administration.
You'll also work closely with different teams across the business, supporting new starter administration, event coordination, marketing activities and the ordering of office supplies, workwear and equipment.
This role would suit someone who is organised, approachable and enjoys working with people. Whether you're looking to build your administration experience or take the next step in your career, you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills while supporting the wider business.
As a Junior Office Administrator, you will…
Answer incoming calls, take messages, transfer enquiries and monitor shared inboxes.
Manage incoming and outgoing post, including sorting and distributing mail and coordinating courier collections.
Support document management through scanning, printing, photocopying, binding and electronic filing.
Welcome visitors to the office, ensuring they receive a professional and friendly experience.
Support meetings by arranging refreshments, ordering lunches and preparing meeting rooms.
Maintain office supplies, including stationery, kitchen stock and meeting room facilities.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, updating contact records and assisting teams across the business.
Coordinate new starter welcome packs, including preparing and posting items to employees across the business.
Support the Marketing team with the ordering and organisation of branded merchandise.
Assist with the coordination of internal and external events, including room bookings and logistics.
Arrange meetings and diary bookings, ensuring rooms, refreshments and supporting materials are organised.
Coordinate the ordering of PPE and workwear as required.
About you…
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy office environment where no two days are the same. You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys helping others, building positive relationships and providing excellent service to colleagues, customers and visitors.
You take pride in being well organised, paying attention to detail and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Whether you're arranging meetings, supporting visitors, managing office administration or helping colleagues across the business, you'll be comfortable juggling a variety of responsibilities and adapting to changing priorities.
You'll be someone who is proactive, approachable and willing to get involved wherever needed. Previous administration, reception, customer service or office support experience would be beneficial, however attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.
As this is a fully office-based role, we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and providing hands-on support from our office location. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their administration skills and become an important part of a supportive and welcoming team.
