Groundworks Foreman required for a leading specialist contractor delivering high-end residential projects across London and the South East.
GVR Solutions are representing a client that has built an excellent reputation for delivering complex groundwork and structural packages on some of London's most prestigious residential developments. Their expertise includes builders works, underpinning, temporary works, structural steel installation and basement construction, working alongside leading developers, architects and private clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Groundworks Foreman for an initial scheme 6 month scheme in West central London.
The Role

Being on the tools where necessary

Supervising groundworks operatives and subcontractors on site.

Involved in managing day-to-day site activities across multiple work fronts.

Coordinating builders works, underpinning, basement excavation and structural packages.

Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Planning labour, plant and materials to maintain programme.

Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks.

Maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Liaising with Site Managers, Contracts Managers, engineers and clients.

Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to an exceptional standard.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman.

Strong background in high-end residential or complex refurbishment projects.

Experience with underpinning, temporary works, reinforced concrete, steelwork or basement construction would be highly advantageous.

Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

SMSTS or SSSTS.
-
CSCS Card.
-
First Aid at Work (preferred).
