Are you a Communications and/or Marketing specialist looking for a new challenge?
Carrington West are currently recruiting for an experienced marketing and communications professional to support a busy client in London.
We are looking for a person with a proven background in working for a local authority and familiar with the activity and responsibilities of a highways and transport function and the ability to develop and deliver multiple engagement, communications and publicity programmes simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a consistent and timely approach to Councillor, FOI and MP correspondence
Ensures and works towards the agreed media protocol to maintain good local, regional and national media relations.
Develop and maintain reputation by ensuring key messages are agreed, aligned and proactive campaigns are executed.
Respond to resident enquiries that have been escalated, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate internal or external teams and are resolved efficiently.
Take ownership of the social media accounts, ensuring all content is aligned with business objectives.
Develop and implement a monthly social media and communications plan, ensuring content is aligned with organisational priorities and objectives.
