Coyles are seeking reliable and professional Traffic Management Operatives with a valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock qualification for a major road closure project based in Chelmsford, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure up to 6 months of consistent work on a high-profile traffic management contract,
📍 Location
Chelmsford, Essex
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates based up to around 10 miles from Chelmsford.
✅ The Role
Working as part of an established Traffic Management team, your duties will include:

Manning road closure access points
-
Operating Gate / Air Lock systems
-
Controlling authorised vehicle access and egress
-
Communicating with site management and traffic management teams
-
Maintaining site security and public safety
-
Monitoring access permissions in line with project requirements
-
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Chapter 8 guidelines
-
Completing basic site records and reports where required
-
Providing professional customer service to residents, businesses and authorised contractors
🎓 Essential Requirements

Valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock Qualification

Previous Traffic Management experience preferred

Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)

Strong communication skills

Professional and courteous approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
