A welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join their team full time, starting on a temporary basis.
The school is committed to supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development, helping them overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential.
As an Educational Psychology Graduate, you will:
· Provide 1:1 and small-group classroom support.
· Help pupils access learning and develop their academic abilities.
· Support children's social, emotional and behavioural development.
· Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
· Build positive relationships with pupils and understand their individual learning needs.
· Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupil progress.
Whether you have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Tutor or are a recent Psychology graduate looking to build a career in Educational Psychology, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding of learning, child development and educational needs.
While previous school experience would be an advantage, it is not essential. Most importantly, the school is looking for a Psychology graduate who is patient, approachable and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for understanding how children learn and develop.
