Location: Northampton
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday–Friday – No Weekends
Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading equipment and tool hire company to recruit an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their team in Northampton.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business, working on a varied range of small tools and equipment, with the opportunity to earn additional money through overtime.
The Role:
Service, maintain and repair a range of small tools and hire equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring it is safe and ready for use.
Identify parts required and assist with maintaining workshop standards.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a Small Tools Fitter, Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter or similar.
Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience working on small plant, tools or equipment.
A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.What's on Offer?
£30,000–£35,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
Overtime opportunities to increase earnings.
Monday–Friday working hours.
No weekend work.
