CNC Turner - Weekend Shift

Three long days, four days off, and a 25% shift premium on top. Not a bad trade.
Our client is an established precision engineering business producing high-performance components, and they're growing. They need an experienced CNC Turner for their weekend shift, programming, editing and running Okuma machines to a very high standard.
You'll:
Programme, edit and operate Okuma turning machines
Work from detailed engineering drawings and picture the finished part before you cut it
Follow quality control procedures and document your work as you go
Package components properly so nothing gets damaged on the way out
You'll need:
A formal apprenticeship, or equivalent turning and general engineering experience
Confidence working unsupervised and as part of a team
Real focus and attention to detail
A good grasp of how different materials behave
CMM or automated measuring experience is a plus, though they'll train you. Automotive, aerospace or motorsport backgrounds will stand out.
Shifts run Friday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:30, with a 30 minute break. Benefits include pension, private healthcare, life assurance and on-site parking.
