Beyond Talent are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing Accountancy Practice in Retford, who are looking to welcome a Junior Tax Assistant to their friendly and supportive team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

You will work alongside an experienced team, receiving training and guidance while developing your knowledge of tax compliance and working with a varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
Support the preparation of P11D returns relating to employee benefits and expenses.
Help with tax compliance work for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Respond to basic client queries and assist with HMRC correspondence.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure information is processed correctly.
Support the wider team with general tax administration and meet key filing deadlines.
Develop your understanding of tax legislation, compliance and best practice through on-the-job training.
Profile & Requirements
An interest in pursuing a career in taxation or accountancy.
Previous experience within an office, finance or accountancy environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
