Job Description:
Groundworker – Immingham, Lincolnshire
We are looking for Groundworkers to assist with ongoing works on the first phase of a civil engineering and groundworks packages within the port of Immingham. The project is due to commence from the 2nd of December. This is a great opportunity to be in consistent work up until January 2028.
We are looking for experienced Groundworkers to help with digging out foundation trenches, basements, and utility holes using hand tools or heavy plant machinery, and providing excavation support. It is also desierable for successfull applicants to be able to Interpret technical site plans and architectural specifications to ensure accurate dimensions and levels.
Rate: £22.00 per hour (Overtime & Weekends Available at x1.5)
Start: December / Long term work available (12 months)
Must Drive for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of skilled groundworks
- Trench Digging, Initial foundations, All around Groundworks
- Working alongside plant operators and site teams
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Following all site health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience in all aspects of groundworks(6 months Experience)
- Full PPE
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good timekeeping
