We are recruiting for a permanent employed Multi-Trade Operative to join a well-established maintenance team working across a social housing portfolio in the Hastings area. This role involves carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works within both occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance

Working within occupied and void social housing properties

Completing refurbishment and remedial works

Diagnosing faults and providing effective repair solutions

Delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent customer service

Using a PDA to manage and update jobs (training provided)
Essential Requirements
-
Strong multi-trade experience across a variety of maintenance disciplines

Competent in:
-
Carpentry
-
Plumbing
-
Patch plastering
-
General building repairs
-
Experience working within tenanted properties

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Comfortable using handheld PDA technology

NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in a relevant trade

Full UK Driving Licence

DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
