Heavy Plant Fitter – Experienced Engineer Required
£25 Per Hour. Overtime timeand a half after 40 hours
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy plant and construction machinery, with hands-on experience working on a range of equipment, including:
The Role:

Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults.
-
Undertaking breakdown repairs and general maintenance.
-
Ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and operating safely.

Working independently and as part of a team.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic.

Good working knowledge of dozers, 360 excavators and similar construction machinery.

Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
-
A proactive approach with the ability to work on their own initiative.
-
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
