Caretaker Required - SEMH School | Milton Keynes
TimePlan Education is currently recruiting a reliable, hands-on and proactive Caretaker to work within a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Milton Keynes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and DIY tasks around the school.
Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean and well maintained.
Completing routine health and safety checks and reporting any hazards.
Setting up and moving furniture and equipment as required.
Carrying out basic plumbing, decorating and maintenance duties.
Monitoring site security, including opening and locking up the premises.
Managing deliveries and assisting with general site requirements.
Supporting the wider school team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has previous caretaking, facilities or maintenance experience.
Is practical, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
Has a flexible and positive approach to work.
Understands the importance of safeguarding within a school environment.
Is comfortable working in a specialist SEMH setting.
