Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to join welcoming mainstream primary school environments in Streatham, Lambeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, graduate or someone with a background in childcare who is looking to develop a rewarding career in education.
The Role
Working alongside class teachers and the wider school team, your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group learning support.

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND.

Helping children access lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Supporting literacy, numeracy, phonics and classroom activities.

Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning habits.

Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Monitoring pupil progress and communicating with teaching staff.

Previous experience working with children is desirable.
