Warehouse Operative – We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for an up-and-coming position with our client based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

About the Role:
You will be working as part of a busy warehouse team, assisting with the receiving, picking, packing, loading and dispatching of goods. This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday. The starting pay rate is £12.71 per hour.
Key Duties will include:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Receiving, checking and putting away stock
Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are correctly labelled
Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting any discrepancies
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience would be an advantage
Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
Good communication skills
Own transport is essential due to the location
