Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.97 – £18.86 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Quarterly Production Bonus: Earn up to £360 extra every quarter

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 16:45 (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)
An established, leading manufacturing specialist is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team.
In this role, you will work on complex heavy engineering assemblies, reading technical drawings, and maintaining precise welding standards in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
The Job:
Fabricate and weld high-precision components in a heavy manufacturing/engineering setting.
Perform stainless steel MIG and TIG welding following WPS (Weld Procedure Specifications).
Read and accurately interpret complex technical engineering drawings.
Prepare jigs and fixtures for complex assemblies.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and portable inspection arms to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Optionally operate precision machinery (CNC plasma cutters, Waterjet, etc.).
What you will bring to the team:
Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering / Welding Fabrication.
Experienced Welder Fabricator within heavy manufacturing or engineering.
Coded in Stainless Steel MIG & TIG welding (e.g., BS EN / ISO standards).
Able to read engineering drawings and follow WPS strictly.
Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
