This XYZ Miller role puts your manual milling skills and ProtoTRAK know-how to work on accurate, high-quality components.

As an XYZ Miller, you will benefit from:
39 hours, Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm (flexibility on hours)

As an XYZ Miller, your responsibilities will include:
Setting and operating XYZ milling machines with ProtoTRAK controls
Producing components using manual machining techniques
Writing and editing conversational programs on the ProtoTRAK control
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce parts accurately
Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
As an XYZ Miller, your experience will include:
Proven experience in manual machining within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
Experience using XYZ ProtoTRAK controls (ideal, not essential)
Confident reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances
Skilled using micrometers, verniers and gauges
A methodical approach with a strong focus on accuracy and right-first-time quality
