The role
We’re looking for an experienced NEC Housing (cloud) Configuration Specialist to join a multi-disciplinary agile team delivering an NEC implementation for a [local authority / housing association]. You’ll own the solution design and lead the build, configuration and go-live of key modules, working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs and the business to make sure the system is set up to meet real operational needs.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows NEC Housing inside out and can confidently advise the business on the best way forward.

Ownership of the solution design across the in-scope modules

Build and configuration of NEC modules

Testing, plus fixing issues and bugs as they arise

Go-live activities and post go-live support

Support for BAs and SMEs in producing training guides

Knowledge transfer to the BAU support team

Complete technical documentation
What you’ll bring

5+ years’ hands-on NEC Housing (cloud) configuration experience
-
Recent experience configuring NEC Housing modules for a local authority or housing association

Experience working within a multi-disciplinary agile team

The ability to work with BAs and the business to understand configuration needs, and advise on the best setup to meet them

A strong understanding of the dependencies between modules, and the confidence to flag them so the business can make informed design decisions

Good knowledge of the NEC data schema and experience using data loaders

Experience building reports in NEC using Business Objects or Power BI

A track record of knowledge sharing and handover to BAU support teams
